I got to learn about some of the wildlife living on Inspiration Road. As we walked to the site we were going to be working at, we saw some poison oak at the side of the trail. The leaves are shiny so the rhyme one of the park stewards told us was “if it’s shiny, watch your hiney!” I also got to learn about bird songs, as well as some of the native plants we were protecting such as the wild strawberry.
